Other than Chai Latte, we don’t think it gets much better than Chocolate and luckily today is the day where the world celebrates their shared love for the beautiful food! So to celebrate we’ve used our very own Raw Cacao Superblend to create all these deliciously chocolatey recipes, we hope you enjoy!

 

Raw Cacao Cookies

 

You can’t beat a good chocolate cookie and especially when they’re vegan what more could you want?!

Ingredients

1tbsp ground flaxseed + 3tbsp water

1/4 cup coconut oil

3tbsp almond butter

1/2 cup dark brown soft sugar

1tsp vanilla extract

1 & 1/4 cup porridge oats

1/4 cup of Raw Cacao Superblend 

1tsp dry ground coffee

1/2tsp bicarbonate of soda

1/2tsp sea salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips

 

Method

  1. Place the flaxseed & water in a large mixing bowl, stirring to combine. Set aside and let mixture gel for 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees C & line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  3. Place oats into a blend and mix until flour-like.
  4. To another large mixing bowl add the flaxseed mix, coconut oil, almond butter, brown sugar & vanilla extract.
  5. Add the oats, Raw Cacao powder, coffee grounds, bicarb of soda & sea salt. After mixing add the choc chips.
  6. Form dough into 12 balls, placing two inches part on the baking tray.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes and leave to cool on a cooling rack. Enjoy!

 Raw Cacao & Banana Muffins

 

Be Bananas! B-A-N-A-N-A-S! That’s what you’ll be thinking after feasting on these Raw Cacao & Banana Muffins!

Ingredients

8 Medjool dates

3 very over-ripe bananas

1tbsp coconut oil

1/4 cup almond milk

1tsp vanilla extract

1 cup porridge oats

3tbsp of Raw Cacao Superblend 

1tsp dry ground coffee

1 cup ground almonds

1tbsp ground flaxseed

1tsp bicarbonate of soda

1/2tsp sea salt

1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and grease a muffin tin with oil.
  2. Place dates, bananas, coconut oil, milk, vanilla & coffee in a high speed food process & blitz until smooth & creamy.
  3. Add oats, almond, Raw Cacao powder, flaxseed, bicarb of soda & salt. Blend until just combined & add optional choc chips to the batter.
  4. Spoon the batter into prepared muffin tin & top with extra choc chips.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes & allow muffins to cool in tin for 15 minutes until transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely. Yum!

 Raw Cacao Smoothie Bowl

 

Smoothie bowls, the beautiful works they have become, can never be missed off any delicious recipe collection – so here’s ours!

Ingredients

1 cup almond milk

1 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 cup frozen spinach

1tbsp of Raw Cacao Superblend

1/4 avocado

1 Medjool date

1 scoop of protein powder

Optional Toppings: Fresh fruit, granola, chia seeds

 

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth & creamy.
  2. Pour into bowl & top with desired toppings.

 Raw Cacao Protein Bar

Ingredients

12 Medjool dates

1 cup raw almonds

1/2 cup walnuts

1/2 cup protein powder

1/4 cup of Raw Cacao Superblend

1tbsp chia seeds

1tbsp almond milk (if needed)

 

Method

  1. Place dates, almonds & walnuts in a high speed food processor & blend until a crumbly mixture has formed.
  2. Add protein powder, Raw Cacao powder & chia seeds, if too dry a mixture add some almond milk to allow dough ball to form.
  3. Place the mixture in a baking tray & flatten until smooth & freeze overnight.
  4. Cut into 8-10 bars & store in a air-tight container in freezer & defrost as needed.
