Chai Latte Spiced Pancakes

From the cookbook:


130g plain flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp Drink Me Chai Spiced Chai Latte powder
2 tbsp caster sugar
130ml whole milk
1 medium egg, beaten
2 tbsp vegetable oil



  1. In a large bowl add the flour, baking powder, Chai Latte powder and sugar.
  2. In a jug, combine the milk, egg and vegetable oil. Add to the dry mix and beat until smooth. Leave to stand for a few mins.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan over a medium heat and add a little oil. When heated, ladle in the batter, cooking in batches of two or three for a couple of minutes on either side until golden brown.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit and a drizzle of maple syrup.
